What does it all mean?

  • High whiteness gives better contrast between paper and text or pictures.
  • Opacity is especially important for printing on both sides. A higher figure means less show through.
  • High smoothness is good for paper texture and print quality.
  • Higher thickness improves stiffness and durability.
